Deep within the Umbrian Olive groves and just down the hillside from the hill top town of Panicale, the Olive house Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place for a couple or small family looking for a short stay. With its own front door, you have the privacy and space of self catering with the convience of breakfast. With English speaking owners, this is the place for tired travellers who are not so confident of their Italian.

I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful family run B&B. Tastefully furnished throughout and with your own entrance, the olive house has much to offer the short stay visitor interested in discovering the area where Umbria, Tuscany and the Lake Trasimeno meet.

You enter into your own sitting room where you can relax after a busy day. Through a door at the end of the hall is the double bed room with en suite bathroom. All beautifully furnished and decorated. Next to this through a door on the right is the smaller single bedroom and separate toilet.

Perhaps the best part of this cosy little B&B is not the fact that you have your own front door but the covered loggia. This is quite large and has many comfy chairs to lounge around on. It is the ideal place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and the view in the evenings, perhaps with a glass of wine or a good book. You will only be disturbed by the summer breeze in the pine trees surrounding the house.
   
This is also where you will be served your breakfast. Or, if the weather is bad you can enjoy it in the kitchen, which unusually is separate from the house. The ideal hosts, Gordon and his wife Kendal will give you as much space or company as you require and will almost certainly greet you with a glass of wine on your arrival.

The beautiful hill top town of Panicale is just a 20 minute walk away, with its restaurants, shops and bars, this is a truly lovely place to stay.

Prices

The price does not include phone costs. The heating cost is 10 Euro a day (heating is usually needed between mid November and mid April).

Booking Terms&Conditions

Fill in the form below. A request will be sent to your hosts who, within 24 hours (often less), will acknowledge your booking. Upon booking, a 25% deposit has to be sent to the owners by cheque in USD/GBP/Euro or through a bank transfer (A paypal account is being set up). Directions will be sent with the confirmation of the booking.

Minimum stay is three nights. The accommodation is non smoking. Linen and house towels are provided. For safety reasons, children under the age of 10 are not allowed. If your visit is cut short, no refunds will be offered. Check in after 11 am. Check out before 10 am.
